"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work"
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Becca loves the upbeat nature of the city, strategically placed in the laid back ways of the south, leading her to Furman University, nestled right between the blue ridge mountains and downtown Greenville, South Carolina. A southern girl by association but a city girl at heart, Becca calls Furman the (second) best of both worlds (behind Atlanta, of course!).
Becca is concentrating her education in Politics and International Affairs, and Communication Studies, and has been able to pursue her education in Greenville as well as Washington D.C. during her time at Furman.
Becca is passionate about connecting and communicating. She has an eye for creativity and design, and a natural way with people. And while she loves to see herself as a star on camera and in front of a crowd, Becca is just as useful, if not more, when she's behind the camera and computer screens.
Some of Becca's most valuable skills include graphic design, photography, editing, and web design, but she doesn't stop there. Through her Political Science education, Becca has developed a strong interest in public policy and the media, and is excellent when it comes to the research, data analysis, computer science, and strategy skills behind this interest.
Becca is most passionate to tackle the weakness in the essential link of effective communication between the government, and the governed. Through her experience as an associate at DFS Creative Concepts she has begun to hone in on her communication skills, and is eager to apply these to the legislative process on her upcoming move to Washington, D.C.
